DESCRIPTION:This course meets the 8-hour California State regulations for child care providers.\n\n\nThis course meets the 8-hour California State regulations for child care providers. \nTHE ZOOM LINK WILL BE PROVIDED BY GABRIELA before 5:30 pm on the same day of the class. \nInstructor: Gabriela Meneses  \nDates:  April 19 – 20 | 9 am – 1 pm \nThis training curriculum provides the eight hours of EMSA approved\, Preventive Health training required for child care licensing. The core content of the Preventive Health and Safety training curriculum (excluding Pediatric CPR and First Aid) is arranged into three modules: Module 1: Prevention of Infectious Disease; Module 2: Prevention of  Injuries; and Module 3: Nutrition. The curriculum may be used for training child care providers who are new to the field or experienced early care and education professionals who are taking the course to refresh their knowledge and assure they are up-to-date.  This is our 5th Edition\, renewed in June 2022. RCP y primeros auxilios pediátricos este curso que cumple con las regulaciones estatales de California para proveedores de cuidado infantil. Este curso de primeros auxilios enseña la prevención de lesiones y cómo responder a emergencias y accidentes. Esta clase cubre desde el nacimiento hasta la edad adulta\, aunque el enfoque está en las edades pediátricas atendidas en los programas de cuidado infantil. Esta certificación es por dos años. \n \n \nEsta clase se ofrece virtualmente (Zoom) durante las primeras 6 horas (Lunes\, Martes\, Miércoles de 6:30 pm a 8:30 pm). Las últimas 2 horas (Sabado en 3 sesiones de 9 am a 11 am\, de 11 am a 1 pm\, de 1 pm a 3 pm) para completar en persona y en grupos pequeños de 8 personas por sesión en el edificio de Bananas.
